Job description
As an Area Export Manager, you will be part of the Sales team and responsible for selling KSE's portfolio in the LATAM region. These CAPEX products range from standard machines to fully customized systems, as well as software modifications and complete factory automation solutions. Your main focus will be leading and expanding the team of local agents. Close collaboration and proactive support will be crucial in informing, activating, and motivating them.LATAM offers opportunities with untapped potential for KSE, and you will have the time and resources to further develop the region. A key part of the role is conducting thorough market research and analysis to determine the necessary customer and partner actions to achieve results step-by-step.
While you’ll need some technical knowledge, the detailed technical expertise is provided by the Sales Engineering team. Together, you will deliver the best technical and commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining, developing, and expanding (existing) partner relationships
- Preparing the annual sales plan with your manager and ensuring its implementation
- Leading and managing local agents, improving, expanding, and/or replacing them where necessary
- Assessing local market opportunities, translating market demands into ideas, and proposing improvements to support the development department
- Connecting the right people internally and externally to ensure project success
- Taking responsibility for closing deals, including finalizing all terms and conditions, aiming for maximum results for all parties involved
- Navigating multiple levels of stakeholders, internally and externally, presenting yourself as a long-term business partner
- Regularly visiting (potential) customers, partners, and relevant trade fairs
- Collaborating with a motivated team, supporting one another to further grow KSE
Background
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent level of education, preferably with a completed degree
- 8–10 years of commercial experience, including 3–5 years in LATAM (essential). You understand the people, culture, and business practices of the region and have a strong affinity for it
- Experience managing agents/distributors, with a proactive attitude toward business development and acquisition
- Entrepreneurial mindset, driven to achieve growth, results-oriented, sharp, and curious
- Strong communication skills at various levels, good listener, and patient when necessary
- A team player capable of working autonomously
- Fluent in Dutch, Spanish, and English; Portuguese is a plus
- Willing to travel approximately 40% of the time
