Rademaker BV specializes in the development and sale of installations, including process control and automation, for various sectors within the food industry. The primary market where Rademaker operates is the dough processing industry. Rademaker is active globally, with 95% of its revenue generated from exports, and has been a prominent market player for many years. The company consists of several subsidiaries, including sales offices in multiple countries and a production facility in Slovakia. The Rademaker Group employs approximately 650 people, with around 400 based at its headquarters in Culemborg. Job description

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the French market. You will be hands-on, understanding, analyzing, developing, and growing this key area. Critical to this role is close collaboration with various key accounts, as well as increasing brand awareness and market share among clients in France. You will use your communication and (technical) sales skills to succeed, working closely with your colleagues in the Netherlands and France to achieve strong results together.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Building and strengthening relationships (and trust) through frequent client visits and regular communication
  • Identifying, analyzing, and assessing customer needs and expectations and translating these into the right solutions
  • Offering machines and converting these quotations into actual orders
  • Working closely with your colleagues in Sales, Engineering, and Service
  • Actively managing your sales pipeline to ensure no opportunity is missed
  • Meeting commercial targets within your region
  • Contributing to the growth strategy and development of the organization alongside your colleagues to further expand Rademaker's current position
  • Regular travel to and within your region
  • Participating in (inter)national trade shows and welcoming clients to the headquarters in Culemborg

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field
  • Experience in a similar role within a comparable environment
  • Familiarity with the food industry and/or machinery is a significant asset
  • A strong drive to achieve results, assertive yet patient, hands-on, proactive, and entrepreneurial
  • Persistence, flexibility, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • No issues with traveling in your area; you invest in contact with all your partners
  • Excellent command of the French and Dutch languages
