Job description
In this key position, you will leverage your knowledge and expertise to elevate project management within CAS to an even higher level. With your project management experience, you will contribute to the development of a professional project management organization, becoming an essential part of the company’s next phase of growth and development.At the same time, as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for multiple projects at different stages. You will oversee scope, milestones, and budget, manage risks, and handle contracts and (internal and external) stakeholders.
Various colleagues from different departments share responsibility for project execution, and you will continuously lead the status and progress. You will be ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of your projects to customers. With a commercial mindset, you will focus strongly on finance and contracts. You will work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and all (sub)suppliers.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Further structuring and optimizing project management processes
- Establishing a consistent approach to project execution
- Managing projects from start to finish, creating schedules, monitoring progress based on client agreements, ensuring compliance with scope, contracts, and budgets, and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and project teams
- Ensuring your projects are successfully delivered within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Remaining continuously ‘in control,’ proactively identifying opportunities, and anticipating risks (and taking action accordingly)
- Taking full financial and commercial responsibility for all your projects, maintaining frequent communication with all stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Recording agreements in the ERP system and carefully maintaining a project dossier
- Evaluating completed projects and implementing meaningful improvements in future projects
- Reporting to the Operations Manager and providing periodic updates
