KSE automates complete factories, continuously optimizing and future-proofing their customers' processes. In their factory, they produce both standard products and custom machines. KSE's responsibilities extend beyond production to include design, development, assembly, and on-site commissioning. Established in 1973, the family-owned KSE has grown into a global player.

You will primarily be responsible for selling KSE's factory automation, with their software PROMAS ST representing over 50 years of KSE's experience in the animal feed production process.

Job description

As an Area Sales Manager within the Sales team, your role involves selling CAPEX (capital expenditure) products in the Benelux region. These products range from complete factory automations to individual machine updates. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with (potential) customers is crucial. Additionally, you will maintain intensive contact with all global partners. With a strong reputation in the market and ample opportunities for (market share) growth in automation software, KSE offers a promising environment.

From the initial customer contact to the handover of the realized project to a project team, you will be responsible for the entire sales process. A team of specialists is available to support you throughout the sales process and accompany you wherever and whenever needed. Success is determined collaboratively.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Executing acquisition and maintaining, building, and expanding (existing) relationships
  • Internally and externally connecting the right people to ensure project success
  • Engaging with multiple levels within organizations, presenting KSE and yourself as a long-term partner
  • Collaborating with your manager to prepare the annual sales plan and ensuring its execution
  • Taking responsibility for the final deal, including handling all ultimate details of the terms, aiming for maximum results for KSE
  • Translating market needs into ideas and improvements to support the development department
  • Regularly visiting (potential) customers and relevant trade shows
  • Collaborating within an enthusiastic team, supporting each other to collectively grow KSE further

Background

  • HBO-level education, preferably with a degree in Technical Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or International Business
  • Experience in a similar role in a comparable environment
  • Entrepreneurial and driven to grow KSE by realizing new opportunities
  • Experience in selling software; experience in industrial automation is a plus
  • Results-oriented, sharp, and curious to get to the heart of the matter
  • Communicatively adept at various levels, attentive, and patient as needed
  • Capable of operating independently but also a team player
  • Besides being fluent in Dutch, you speak English well; knowledge of multiple languages is always a plus.
