Job description

As an Area Sales Manager, you are responsible within the Sales team for selling the KSE portfolio in the Benelux region. These (CAPEX) products range from (individual) machine updates to (complete) factory automations and from standard machines to custom-made machines. Building and maintaining (long-term) relationships with (potential) customers and partners are crucial. KSE has a strong and recognized name in the market, with plenty of opportunities for further (market share) growth.

From the first customer contact to handover to a project team, you are responsible for the sales process. A team of specialists is available to support you throughout the sales process and to accompany you where and when necessary. Together, you determine success.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining, building, and expanding (existing) relationships and conducting acquisitions for new opportunities
  • Together with your manager, preparing the annual sales plan and ensuring its execution
  • Connecting the right people internally and externally to make projects successful
  • Finalizing deals, including handling all final details of the terms, and aiming for maximum results for both KSE and the customer
  • Ability to engage at multiple levels within organizations, presenting yourself and KSE as long-term partners
  • Translating market needs into ideas and improvements to support the development department
  • Regularly visiting (potential) customers and meaningful trade shows
  • Collaborating in an enthusiastic team, supporting each other to further grow KSE together

Background

  • HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of education, preferably with a completed HBO degree
  • Experience in a similar (sales) position in a comparable (CAPEX) environment
  • (Some) experience in selling software/industrial automation is also advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial and driven to achieve growth, results-oriented, sharp, and curious
  • Communicatively proficient at various levels, with listening skills and patience where necessary
  • A team player capable of operating autonomously
  • Besides Dutch, you speak English well; knowledge of multiple languages is always a plus
